We were doing a government project last year in 2009. We did an election. An election is where you decide on a particular group or a person to represent our country. In this case it was our school we were representing. There were 5 groups. Rascal was in Crunching Da Credit and Dizzee was in Live Life. These were just names we wanted to choose.
We had to put up posters around our school because we really wanted people to vote for us. Our policies were all about political things like law and order, environment, business and finance and other things. At the end Rascal and Dizzee didn’t win but it was still a great experience.
We went to different classes to persuade people to vote for us. We had our own polling station and that is where you vote. All the votes got put into a ballet box.
It was a very good day!

I really wanted to improve the law. Not very many people have been sticking to the law so possibly making the law more noticable might encourage people to think before doing things.
