King Loth

King Loth is a school musical that our school put on in the Brunton Theatre on the 19th and the 20th of January. Kizzy was Princess in the play and I thoughht it was a great experience. We have Monarch here from Primary 6. He played the sheperd (Eric) and we said, "What do you think of the play now its all over?" He said, "I thought it was a great experience now its all over."

More about King Loth

Rascal is a Lady In Waiting. A lady in waiting is a maid. She helps get the princess ready and everything and basically has a little house near the castle because a lady in waiting is at the castle a lot. I don’t really like my part. I would much rather be a Witch like Dizzee or be Lyona who is still a lady in waiting but the main one.

Rascal

Dizzee is the main witch and she is called Olwen. I have quite a lot of speaking to do and I am a soloist which is I sing on my own and talk on my own. It is great fun.

King Loth

At our school primary 4-7 are putting on a musical at a professional theatre. The theatre is called The Brunton Theatre. The musical is called the Legend of King Loth. Robin Hiley and James Ross wrote the play for us after coming to do some music at our school. The play is about a King who is fighting to be reunited with his queen and daughter. The enemy, Lord Mordred of Fib, is wanting to take King loth’s throne by marrying princess Thenew. Lord Mordred kidnaps Queen Lynette (Loth’s bride) to ensure that Thenew will be his bride. Thenew does not know about Mordreds plot to marry her and she falls in love with a shepherd. At the end Loth is reunited with his wife and daughter but after having a frightful battle with Mordred dies of his wounds. Erec the shepherd is crowned king in the last few minutes of Loth’s life by King Loth.

The Play lasted for 2 nights and we got a good result at the end.
