King Loth

At our school primary 4-7 are putting on a musical at a professional theatre. The theatre is called The Brunton Theatre. The musical is called the Legend of King Loth. Robin Hiley and James Ross wrote the play for us after coming to do some music at our school. The play is about a King who is fighting to be reunited with his queen and daughter. The enemy, Lord Mordred of Fib, is wanting to take King loth’s throne by marrying princess Thenew. Lord Mordred kidnaps Queen Lynette (Loth’s bride) to ensure that Thenew will be his bride. Thenew does not know about Mordreds plot to marry her and she falls in love with a shepherd. At the end Loth is reunited with his wife and daughter but after having a frightful battle with Mordred dies of his wounds. Erec the shepherd is crowned king in the last few minutes of Loth’s life by King Loth.

The Play lasted for 2 nights and we got a good result at the end.

Hello
After the musical some of the children might have a dream of beeins actors? It sounds like you have been doing a great job.

I was the Queen in the play. It was really fun but also quite challenging. We are all sad that it is over but are all very proud of ourselves.

I was princess Thenew in the play and it is very hard to learn lines. But I would love to do it again.
